Deception has taken off!!

The footage is all shot and now nearly fully edited bar the music which we are going to put in the background of the chasing scenes.
Due to continuity, the footage i had shot had to be scrapped as there was not enough snow in the scenes in comparison to the other shots that were taken.
Fortunately it snowed for us again last week!!!!! which was excellent timing for our footage.

Me and ruth are completely happy with what we have and are really excited to see our final peice!

Footage

As of Saturday 24th i have filmed some footage with Ruth at our film destination which is the nature reserve at Newton Hall.
The weather was perfect for our shots and also the bits of ice that were there from previous filming, where still there on saturday which was Perrrrfect!!

The footage we have captured looks really good!, and meets our aims, therefore me and Ruth are very happy and excited to get the footage all done and dusted.


Not only this but we have now got a log sheet, with all the various peices of footage which we are keeping and also deleting which is very helpful for our editing which we have started as of Monday 25th 2010.
We have had some issues with the server at our school so that delayed us of an hour of editing time but we should be back on task as of today (Wednesday 27th 2010)

Ruth has also managed to capture some footage!
Although i have'nt been with her to do so, every little helps.

Week 2

Me & Ruth have now decided on a name for our film.

Deception.

Because, the story behind our film is, when one friend decieves the other.

He follows her in the woods and tries to attack her.

He then later startles the other character (olivia) and pretends to comfort her, only for her to then find out he was after her all along.

Media week 1

Week 1 was not a successful week for me.

Unfortunately being ill and the weather being far to snowy i was unable to attend lessons.

Though being at home i was able to get work from Ruth (In my team) and made a storyboard based on her script.
